In addition to the time and effort he puts in to helping his clients, Mr. Gross gives back to the community by volunteer work and supporintg local charities including the Montgomery County Law Enforcement Officer's Relief Fund.
Mr. Gross has been an attorney for over 30 years and is the founder of The Law Offices of Douglas M. Gross, LLC, an AV-rated firm by Martindale-Hubbell. Mr. Gross is a native of Montgomery County, Maryland and attended the University of Maryland in College Park where he received two undergraduate degrees before attending the University of Baltimore School of Law where he graduated cum laude with a Juris Doctorate degree. Mr. Gross is a member of the Maryland and District of Columbia bars.
Mr. Gross' past experiences include working for an insurance defense firm where he received jury trial experience early in his career defending insurance companies and their insureds before moving firms in order to represent injured individuals against many of those same companies. His practice now focuses on representing only individuals who have been injured and includes those who have been hurt at work, in automobile accidents, in slip and fall accidents and in other acts of negligence by another person or corporation. His practice includes representing individuals in the various district courts, circuit courts, Courts of Appeal and before the Workers' Compensation Commission, as well as at arbitration hearings.
Mr. Gross currently serves as Co-Chair of the Workers' Compensation Section of the Montgomery County Bar Association and has lectured in the field, including having been a presenter at the annual Maryland state workers' compensation convention held in Ocean City, Maryland.
Mr. Gross continues to live in Montgomery County, Maryland with his wife and two children where he stays active in his kids activities.
